Position Summary:
We are seeking a mission-driven and organized Project Manager to support the oversight and implementation of a groundbreaking public health model aimed at improving access to treatment for individuals with rare hematologic conditions. The Project Manager will work closely with the Project Director to coordinate initiatives, track milestones, engage stakeholders, and ensure the project progresses on schedule and within scope. This is a part-time role ideal for clinical or public health professionals with strong project coordination experience and a commitment to improving health outcomes in rare disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Director in overseeing all aspects of the access model’s implementation and execution.
- Coordinate project meetings, maintain timelines, and manage key deliverables.
- Facilitate partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and cross-team communication.
- Monitor daily project operations, track tasks, and ensure objectives are met efficiently.
- Assist in evaluating program outcomes and assessing progress against benchmarks.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to the Project Director.
- Maintain project documentation, organize data, and assist with presentation and reporting materials.
- Demonstrated experience in public health, clinical project management, or healthcare administration.
- Strong understanding of healthcare access issues, particularly related to rare hematologic conditions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project tracking platforms).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Medicaid or public health programs.
- Knowledge of advanced therapeutic access programs.
- Experience in healthcare quality improvement and outcomes measurement.
- Experience supporting grant-funded projects or initiatives.
- Active licensure as RN, LPN, or Registered Pharmacist (RPh).
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), and
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, or related field with 2+ years of public health project management or healthcare quality experience.
