Senior Credit Risk Executive
I have a unique, financial services based client who is looking for an experienced Risk professional to join their organisation and help in designing and implementing and functioning Credit and Country Risk Framework. Responsibilities of the role include: Design and oversight of the rating and risk measurement process, including counterparty credit risk and country risk Cross departmental implementation of the new credit risk policy Project management: develop and maintain robust and achievable project plans to manage and track implementation of the Credit Risk framework. Report on status of implementation, issues and progress Pre-investment and new product credit analysis providing risk assessment and ensure risks will be captured adequately Oversee the ongoing credit review process and identify trends and concentrations in risk exposures Design and develop exception-based risk reports, including risk exposures, risk appetite and risk mitigation actions You must be familiar with a range of credit risk management techniques including rating methodologies, exposure measurement and monitoring. Product knowledge including debt and familiarity with structural credit enhancement techniques, direct and fund investing is a must also. To be successful in the position you must have working knowledge or interest in Emerging Markets also. In return they are offering a salary between £87,000 or 96,000 dependant on experience.

Quantitative Risk Modeller
Our client an independent, FCA and PRA authorised UK Bank offering unrivalled knowledge and experience of international finance and the Middle Eastern markets are looking for a Quantitative Risk Modeller to assist the Risk Management function in the day-to-day management of Credit, Liquidity, Market and Operational Risks in their London office Main duties:- Support the Second Line of Defence oversight of prudential risk. Assist in the production of Risk MI reports. Perform the regular stress testing and scenario analysis. Maintain and update the Bank's risk models. Develop existing ILAAP and ICAAP models. Build and maintain Excel files ensuring integrity of data and maintenance of an audit trail. Support the Head of Prudential Risk in risk management tasks and specific workloads. Perform forecasts of key liquidity metrics. Implement business strategy into risk models and project and report MI. Develop and design reports within Tableau and Quantitative Risk Management (QRM). Maintain and improve the Bank's IFRS 9 model, in R. Automate manual tasks within Excel through use of VBA. Key skills and Experience:- The ideal candidate has experience working in Risk Management in the Banking Sector and is educated to degree level in Mathematics, Finance, Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline. Master's degree desirable. Has a passion for designing and implementing risk models. Knowledge of liquidity risk and market risk, especially the LCR, NSFR, EVE, NII etc. Knowledge of the IFRS 9 and the process of calculating Expected Credit Loss. Experienced in implementing market risk, liquidity risk and FTP frameworks Awareness or interest in acquiring knowledge of PRA/CRD IV prudential rules. Be proficient in Microsoft Office incl. An independent, FCA and PRA authorised UK Bank offering unrivalled knowledge and experience of international finance and the Middle Eastern markets are looking for a Prudential Risk Manager to assist the Risk Management function in the day-to-day management of Credit, Liquidity, Market and Operational Risks in their London office Duties and responsibilities Support the Second Line of Defence oversight of prudential risk. Assist the preparation of reports for internal governance bodies namely the Executive Risk Committee, Board Risk Committee and ALCO. Assist in the production of Risk MI reports. Carry out Second Line risk monitoring and reporting. Develop existing ILAAP and ICAAP documents as well as working on the Bank's Recovery and Resolution Plan (RRP). Build and maintain Excel files ensuring integrity of data and maintenance of an audit trail. Support the Head of Prudential Risk in risk management tasks and specific workloads. Identify potential gaps in market risk and liquidity risk reporting. Attend and minute the some of the Bank's Committee meetings, providing input as and when required. Automate manual tasks within Excel through use of VBA. Key skills and experience The ideal candidate has 3+ years' experience and is educated to degree level. Master's Degree desirable. Senior Officer/Assistant Manager - Operational Risk Management
Operational Risk Management Senior Officer / Assistant Manager Our client, a growing Wholesale/Commercial Bank is expanding their operational risk management team. This role is a great way to improve the Operational Risl & Control Environment! JOB PURPOSE The job holder will act as the 2nd Line of Defence responsible for providing risk oversight for operational risk management emanating from the EMEA Division's business operations. The job holder will provide risk oversight in accordance to the Division's risk appetite framework (RAF) and the risk management framework (RMF) including strategies, approaches and support risk governance structures to manage operational risks effectively. This is an assistant manager role with specific responsibilities for managing operational risk and supporting the Head of Operational Risk Management Department (ORMD) who leads ORMD operations within the Division. The ORMD forms a sub-section of the overarching Risk Management Framework. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES General: The job holder provides support to ORMD whose general responsibilities are as follows; Plan, promote and develop strategies and frameworks to support 1st Line of Defence and the Division-wide manage operational risks. Maintain the applicable operational risk management policies and procedures (setting of the fundamental standards and procedures) together with supporting risk strategies for risk acceptance, avoidance, management and control of risks. Assist in the continuous enhancement and embedding process of the RAF and RMF to addresses branch-wide risks and alignment to the Division's strategic objectives and to industry practices. Maintain the applicable risk appetite framework articulating the level of risk the Division is willing to accept in pursuit of its strategy as well as supporting operational risk tolerance levels and risk definitions. Develop the Division's risk and control capabilities (including staff training) to ensure completeness, coherence and maturity of operational risk management activities and alignment to the RAF and RMF. Market / Liquidity Risk Officer
Market / Liquidity Risk Officer Ensure that risks are managed within the Bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Proactively challenge the first line's risk identification and management of operational risk. Produce daily, weekly monthly and quarterly market risk and reports for various stakeholders, Monitor the Bank's risk position and VaR on a daily basis and perform ad hoc analyses. Market Risk Limit Management: both banking and trading book risk limits management and reporting on daily/ weekly/quarterly basis Ex-ante risk and PC daily management and reporting via ICBC GPC system. Assist with FTP updates and produce management information Other tasks as directed by the Head of Department. Skills Required: ➢ Good knowledge of and working experience in IRRBB and market risk management; ➢ Understanding of group risk management practice; ➢ Awareness of industry trends and best practices; ➢ Understanding (and correct interpretation) of relevant regulatory regimes and requirements governing liquidity risk for UK institutions, together with a working knowledge of industry standard market risk requirements; ➢ Strong written and verbal communication skills; ➢ Ability to deliver accurate and comprehensive risk reports and to propose meaningful and constructive solutions and suggestions; ➢ Mandarin language skills essential.
