. Tax & Accounting Manager Permanent Salary £55-70,000 We are working with an international practice firm, who are looking for a Tax & Accounting Manager. Working within the UK branch of this Fiduciary organisation you will be reporting to the Managing Director, and will have lots of liaison across the UK and Cypriot offices and clients. As Tax & Accounting Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all clients are compliant in the UK with all their tax and accounting obligations, and supervise a team that is based in Cyprus who will be doing the preparation of their filings. There are also some ad-hoc tax advisory projects as well. Responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining relationships with clients Managing the tax and accounting workflow and organising the team to ensure tax and accounting deadlines are met Managing a portfolio of SME clients and High Net Worth Individuals Managing the delivery of tax projects within given time scales, ensuring technical excellence (being able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of taxation issues and advise accordingly), liaising with International specialists on technical matters if needed Identifying and evaluating risk management issues Supporting tax advisory projects, advising on specific structuring of investments in both the UK and overseas, liaising with overseas specialists in identifying tax planning opportunities for clients that have overseas businesses and investments Skills and Experience ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Experience gained within a small to medium sized accountancy firm - Fiduciary exposure would be advantageous! Accounts Payable Assistant £26-30,000 Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant; to take responsibility for processing supplier invoices and maintaining appropriate records. Along with being proactive, you need to be able to follow instructions and prioritise your work according to business needs. Duties will include: Coding and processing invoices and credit notes daily, inputting into Microsoft Dynamics NAV/SAP Maintaining the finance inbox to ensure all invoices and credit notes are acknowledged Answering supplier queries Reviewing ageing on a regular basis and provide updates to the finance team Prepare payment runs on a bi-monthly basis for review, these will be approved by senior management Issuing remittances at the point the payment run is approved Reviewing the AP report regularly to identify debit balances and allocation of payments Administering the purchase order system Performing supplier statement reconciliations Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable role is essential. Knowledge of VAT returns desirable! You should have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work, be able to prioritise your own workload and have top communication skills. Financial Accountant, based in Chessington We are currently recruiting for a Head Office Financial Accountant role for an exciting PE backed Manufacturing company based in Chessington, Surrey, just outside the M25. Reporting into the Financial Controller, they are seeking an individual to assist the small head office Finance team. You will ideally have experience of financial accounting with an enthusiasm to support the development and growth of the business. Key duties: Preparing weekly sales reports Preparing and reviewing weekly ages debtor reports and sharing with senior team members Cash flow forecast Revaluing Debtors (AR) and Creditors (AP) Assisting the FC with preparation of month end group reporting Preparation of balance sheets and reconciliations Product sales and margin analysis Cash management Other projects and assistance to the FC and CFO. This permanent role would suit a part qualified financial accountant looking to continue their studies, however we would also consider someone qualified for this position.
