This is an excellent opportunity to build a career within a World Leading Oil company who are ranked in the top 20 of the FTSE 100. They are looking a bright individual with previous settlements/confirmations experience who is degree educated (or equiv). It is essential that potential candidates have previous settlements/confirmations experience within a trading environment.

Some of your duties will include:

- Check and fax all the confirmations produced by the system to the counterparties, making sure that a fax report is available for each
- Collect all incoming confirmations (both third-party and returned confirmations) and check and record against the Book
- Collect and check brokers confirmations against the Book contents each morning
- Update the book with actual deliveries when this alters from the contractual volume
- Produce and check trading invoices in association with the Senior Analyst
- Daily reconciliation of Exchange Position in association with the Senior Analyst

Within this role you will be in Daily contact with all members of the Trading Division including Front Office, Business Development, Operations, Middle Office as well as Finance and Legal. There is also regular contact with our counterparties and brokers, so it is therefore a prerequisite that you have excellent communication skills.

In return they will offer a starting salary up to 26K + bonus, pension, healthcare, 28 days holiday, season ticket loan. Historically people that have worked in the position have moved into positions within the middle and front office.
