A new opportunity has become available at a Financial Institution for a Trade Support Analyst.

Duties to include:

  • Comply with the financial services and markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules at all times
  • Comply with the relevant Compliance, TCF, T&C, financial crime and AML procedures of the firm at all times
  • Keep up to date with all relevant products, legislative and technical changes as required
  • Follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm at all times
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained as per company procedures
  • Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm
  • To run the central trading desk, responsible for collating, executing and reconciling trades raised throughout the firm
  • Provide the link between the Wealth Management and the Custodians used by the firm to ensure that the setting-up and regular rebalancing of client portfolios are executed in line with the client's mandate or approval
  • Work with the firm's investment management system to collate trades and organise these to be sent to the firm's custodians for execution
  • Be responsible for checking trades post execution and reconciling internal records with Custodians
  • Develop and streamline the trading process, seeking increased levels of automation, straight through processing, reduced lead times, and reduced error rates
  • Support the COO and contribute towards operations process redesign related to Trading

The candidate will have:

  • Experience of working on a trading desk/working in a trade support role
  • Has an understanding of financial markets and securities
  • Strong analytical and research skills and be able to communicate technical knowledge clearly
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
