We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Customer Services and Investigations Officer to join the operations department within an international finance institution. The ideal candidate will have had gained experience within a retail banking role or have payments processing background.

Key duties will include:

  • Provide daily Cash Management Services (CMS) for European and worldwide CMS customers within the Operations and Administration Department.
  • Provide daily Investigation support for the EMEA region, ensuring the timely resolution of all investigations raised.
  • Provide front line support to customers and employees in the EMEA region and globally.
  • Validate and approve customer e-banking payment templates to enhance Straight Trough Processing.
  • Monitor Nostro accounts and investigate/clear any outstanding entries.
  • Set up and maintenance of Standing Orders. UK Direct Debits, SEPA Direct Debits, creation of Cheque and Giro Books, Stop Cheques, Unpaid cheques in and out and BACS Recalls
  • Processing of MT191 claims
  • Conduct six monthly fee reviews ensuring bespoke fee structures are recorded accurately.

Key experience will include:

  • Prior payments processing knowledge would be advantegous. Particularly knowledge of SWIFT,CHAPS,BACS and SEPA.
  • Strong team player
  • Detail orientated individual with the ability to manage high volumes whilst consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Prior work experience within a retail banking environment would be preferred.

This is a temporary role until January 2018 and has the likelihood to be extended beyond this date. The client is willing to pay up to £155 as a daily pay rate for this opportunity.
