Visa Advice
In order to work legally in the UK you will need to hold a valid work permit. You can obtain a valid work permit from your local British Embassy/ High Commission.
There are however a number of different types of work permit available, all with different qualifying criteria. These are:
- Tier 1 (General) - Highly skilled workers
- Tier 1 (Post-study work) - for those wishing to work in the UK after graduating from a UK university
- Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme)
- UK Ancestry visa
- Spousal/Partner/Dependant visa
